This exhibit will feature artifacts from the Galt Museum collections that have been modified, redesigned, or customized by their original owners. The visible transformations tell us stories about how these objects were used, and speak to the ingenuity of their creators. Whether made for artistic or practical purposes, these interventions demonstrate our capacity for adaptation and “making do”.
