3 accused also stole property from the motel, set fire to SUV after fleeing scene, police say

A 23-year-old woman wanted by police after a body was found at a Lethbridge, Alta., motel last week has turned herself in, police say.

Two men had previously been arrested in connection with the incident. All three are facing charges of first-degree murder.

Officers say they began investigating what they called a suspicious death after the body of 34-year-old Christina Webber was found at a motel room along the 2200 block of Seventh Avenue South on Dec. 28, 2024.
